Post qualification in 2003, Philip has gained a wealth of experience across numerous commercial sectors including the residential sector.
Joining careyjones architects in 2003 Philip gained valuable experience on several commercial developments including Clarence Dock Leeds and Townside, Bury.
Following on from his time at careyjones, Philip worked as a ‘Design Champion’ for a local Planning Authority, a role which saw him review/ critique all major residential developments within the district.
In addition to the experience gained on residential developments, Philip has acted as design lead on numerous assisted living and care home projects across the UK for developer LNT.
In 2014 Philip joined Fuse and has acted as Project Architect delivering two major student accommodation projects: VITA Newcastle and more recently VITA Nottingham. After completing the Nottingham project, Philip oversaw the refurbishment of the Sol leisure destination in Northampton. Philip also worked alongside colleagues to design Hudson Quarter: a large mixed-use development in the centre of York.
Most recently Philip has led our work in achieving Planning and Listed Building approval for the renewal, refurbishment and extension of the iconic Bank House in Leeds city centre. Philip is currently acting as Brand Guardian for Moda Living for their New Garden Square BTR project in Edgbaston.
