Located at the Cathedral Lanes Shopping Centre. Zizzi Coventry provides the perfect place to have a coffee or lunch whilst shopping. The restaurant interior takes inspiration from a legend dating back at least to the 13th century, in which Lady Godiva rode naked—covered only in her long hair—through the streets of Coventry to gain a remission of the oppressive taxation that her husband, Leofric, imposed on his tenants. A bespoke sculpture of a horse formed from thick steel wire stands proud in the entrance area whilst large circular lighting features are reminiscent of cartwheels.
