Fuse is delighted to reveal its involvement in the successful bid by Global Gaming Ventures (GGV) for the new Large Casino License in Leeds. Leeds City Council made the announcement today that the coveted license would be awarded to GGV after an exhaustive competitive process. The project will involve the creation of a 50,000 sq. ft. entertainment led casino as part of Hammerson’s Victoria Gate development in the city centre. This win maintains Fuse’s 100% record following the earlier success in the license competition in Bath last year.

Yes, despite the freezing conditions last month, certain members of the Fuse team got their kit off in public as part of the Fuse entry for the Westside Chair Photography Competition. The competition, run by office furniture manufacturers Steelcase Solutions, challenged Leeds based architects and designers to photograph the iconic Westside chair in an imaginitive setting. We decided to involve the whole team and we all got to pose with the chair in front of a selection of Leeds landmarks and to keep the poses consistent, we used the world famous picture of Christine Keeler as our inspiration. Unfortunately, some of the guys didn’t just copy Christine’s pose – they also copied her lack of clothing! Click on the photograph for further lurid details….
