Fuse is delighted to confirm that it is was chosen as the designer for the new Hard Rock Cafe in Brussels. Situated in a stunning 17th Century building within the UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Grande Place, the new venue will be unveiled this summer.

At a glittering Awards Ceremony at Hard Rock Live at Universal Studios in Orlando Florida last night, Fuse was named as ‘Hard Rock Project Development Partner of the Year 2011′ in recognition of its work on the Hard Rock Cafe in Florence and other pipeline projects across Europe.

Although the more glamourous projects such as the Hard Rock Cafes tend to receive more publicity, it is the many smaller workplace refurbishments that make up a large part of the Fuse workload. The latest of these is an appointment from NG Bailey to provide design advice for a number of the company’s UK offices.

We are very pleased to confirm that Fuse has recently been appointed by the University of Leeds to oversee the partial refurbishment of one of the University’s and indeed the City’s most iconic landmarks: the Roger Stevens Building.
Fuse is acting as Architects and Interior Designers for what will be a sensitive and thoughtful refurbishment of this important Grade 2* Listed Building; designed originally in 1963 by one of the country’s most foremost architects of the time, Chamberlin Powell & Bon.
